The Collective was formed by Asli, Carrie Lakin and Anthea White. All three performers are successful solo singers in their own right and came together to create a unique group that showcased their individual vocal talents as well as their passion for vocal harmonies and energetic live performance.

The girls have already been performing successfully around Australia and also internationally (New Zealand, UK, Portugal, Japan, Indonesia and the USA) and have performed with the following artists; Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Alex Lloyd, Marcia Hines, Guy Sebastian, Delta Goodrem, Jackie Orzascky, Jade MacRae, The Sleepy Jackson, Renee Geyer and many more.

Recently, The Collective rocked the stages at the Live Site at Belmore Park, The Rocks Aroma Festival and the White Ribbon Dinner where they performed for luminaries such as Nicole Kidman. In February 2008, The Collective were the featured backing vocalists for the outstanding Rolling Stones tribute shows, “The Beggars Banquet” at The Basement and “It’s Only Rock n Roll” to a massive crowd of 10,000 people at Sydney Olympic Park. They also performed at the Opening Ceremony of Rugby League World Cup in 2008, which was televised to a worldwide audience.

The group has performed at many of Sydney’s renowned venues such as Acer Arena, The Sydney Opera House, The Basement, The Opera Bar, The Golden Sheaf Hotel, The Marble Bar amongst many others. They have also performed at the following festivals and events: Sydney’s Funk and Soul Festival, Manly International Jazz Festival, The Carols in the Domain, Tauranga Festival (New Zealand) and The Java Jazz Festival (Indonesia).

Television appearances have also featured in the careers of The Collective with performances on the following programs: Rove Live, Kerri-Anne’s Morning Show, Sunrise, and The Footy Show. They have also delighted many different audiences and clients with their performances at numerous corporate events, private functions and parties throughout Sydney and surrounding areas.
